ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Two people were injured during a crash in Arlington involving a school bus. The incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning along eastbound Interstate-30, near Collins Street.
Both the driver of the school bus and a school bus attendant were hurt and taken to Arlington Memorial Hospital. The conditions of the two victims are not known. There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. At least two other vehicles were involved in the incident.
According to police, the school bus caught on fire when the crash first took place. Emergency crews were able to quickly calm those flames.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate-30 were completely shut down just after the crash. Check the Traffic section to find alternate routes if you plan on traveling through this part of Arlington on Wednesday.
