FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Police say a driver traveling the wrong way crashed into a Fort Worth Independent School District school bus Friday morning.
The crashed occurred on eastbound Highway 121 between Interstate-35W and Riverside.

Police say it appears a 40-year-old female driver was traveling the wrong way and as she tried exiting the ramp at Riverside, she collided with the school bus almost head-on.
Officials with MedStar ambulance service said the driver was taken to a local trauma center in critical condition.
According to Fort Worth police, one student on the bus was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Eleven others were treated at the scene and then released. The bus driver was shaken up but will be okay, according to Fort Worth ISD.
The ages of the students involved in the crash are currently unknown. The bus was on its way to Country Day for a summer program, says Fort Worth ISD.
