Another five year old child went missing. This was in the Plano School District on Monday. Tywarna Mitchell says her five year old daughter Jordyn was put on a school bus to go home. That wasn’t supposed to happen. On the hottest day of the year, Mitchell says the bus driver dropped her child off in front of their apartment community.
CBS11 reports Jordyn wasn’t the only child taken from Shepherd Elementary school by bus who shouldn’t have. It happened to one other child.
The school district bus drivers are supposed to verify a parent or guardian presence when the children are dropped of. A district spokes person says they will address their dismissal policies.

Another first-day-of-school mistake and this time it involves an UN-air-conditioned school bus.      A Parker County mom is upset after her 5-year old son and other special needs students spent nearly two hours on the bus.  Melanie LaBrake says a school aide on the bus doused the kids with water in an effort to keep them cool when the A/C unit broke down.
Weatherford police and school district officials are investigating.
